MembersFind out more about who we are, and why we started New Zealand's first exotic car membership club.
In early 2022 James & Chris had a vision for a way for all kiwis to enjoy exotic cars without breaking the bank. They envisioned a place where members could come, share their passion for awesome cars with others, and enjoy these vehicles. A new business concept was born.
Starting in early 2023, MotorShare began with our initial vehicles: Porsche GT4, Mercedes GT and an Audi R8, a small office, and a loyal group of founding members who shared the vision.
Since that time, the business has grown to a current 11 vehicles in the fleet, a growing community of members, and a new garage to house the vehicles & members lounge. The team has also grown with Cole & Joe joining us, as we have expanded our range, added MotorShare experience days, special events, and regular Open days for new members to check us out.
We have also introduced a new syndicate programme to help expand our fleet of cars, where members are able to own a share in a vehicle.
Over the coming years, we will be looking to expand our fleet, grow our membership base, and potentially expand into other areas. We look forward to you coming on our journey with us.
At MotorShare we are focused on building a community of like minded individuals who share our values, and our love of exotic cars. We pride ourselves on being transparent with our members, and as a member you will find that we are constantly asking how we can improve the service that we offer to you.
Our club events and experience days are a great way for our members to connect, and enjoy the cars and the facilities that we offer. Our member experience days offer a variety of group drive events, with pre-planned drives, lunches, fun activities along the way, and a chance to drive in multiple vehicles. Our members lounge is the perfect venue for group events, where we get together, watch motoring events, network, and relax.
We spend a lot of time contemplating additions to our fleet. We aim to purchase near new exotic cars that are iconic, and special in some way. It's not always about being the fastest car, but a car that makes you feel a certain way.
So far we have averaged a new vehicle in our fleet every 1 month of operation, and whilst that won't always be achievable there will be a flow of new vehicles, and replacement vehicles over time as we upgrade and change our fleet.
We regularly survey our members to find out what would be of interest to them, and use this to influence the vehicles that we target to add to the fleet.

MotorShare is New Zealand's first & largest private members exotic car club. Our members pay an annual fee to get the use of our collection of some of the worlds most exotic cars. We also offer our members exclusive events, and access to a community of like minded individuals.
